RCB Limited Warranty Guide

RCB warrants to the original retail purchaser (“you, the consumer”) that the RCB product for which you received this warranty is free from manufacturing defects. This warranty applies for the periods and products listed below from the date on the original retail purchase receipt. Proof of purchase from an authorized retailer is required.

Warranty Periods:

Suspension:
  • With Rebound / Compression: 12 months
  • Without Rebound / Compression: 6 months
Brake Calipers & Master Brake Pump:
  • 12 months
CNC Parts (Footrest Lever):
  • 6 months
Forged Wheels & Carbon Wheels Models:
  • 3 years (limited single ownership)
Forged Wheels & Carbon Wheels Models:
  • 3 years (limited single ownership)
Soft Goods (Rain Jacket, Gloves, etc.):
  • 1 month
Battery:
  • 2 years

Warranty Limitations:

This warranty is not transferable to subsequent purchasers. RCB’s sole obligation under this warranty is to:

  1. Repair the claimed defect at no charge, or
  2. Exchange the product with a new or functionally equivalent product.

Warranty claims must be submitted within 60 days of discovering the defect and must include a copy of the original retail purchase receipt. Repaired products are covered for the remainder of the original warranty period. Replaced products are covered by a new warranty period.

Disclaimer of Implied Warranties:

Any implied warranty, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. RCB is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from any breach of warranty.

Warranty Exclusions:

  • Claims lacking a dated proof of purchase from an authorized RCB retailer.
  • Products that have been modified, neglected, poorly maintained, used for commercial purposes, misused, abused, or involved in accidents.
  • Damage during shipment (claims must be presented to the shipper).
  • Products covered by another warranty.
  • Products with altered or removed serial numbers or identifying marks.
  • Products purchased used, in not-new condition, or without original packaging.
  • Damage from improper assembly, repair, or the use of incompatible parts.
  • Products purchased from unauthorized retailers or distributors.
  • Cosmetic damage not affecting functionality.
  • Labor costs for removal, re-fit, or re-adjustment.
  • Normal wear and tear.

Crash Replacement Policy:

RCB offers a limited five-year crash replacement policy for all Carbon and Forged Wheels models:

  • Years 1-2: 50% off RRP of current replacement product.
  • Years 3-4: 30% off RRP.
  • Year 5: 20% off RRP.

Crash replacement covers the cost of RCB products only and is available to the original owner for normal riding conditions. It does not cover labor costs, taxes, shipping, or non-RCB products.

How to Make a Warranty Claim:
  1. Visit your local authorized RCB dealer/distributor with the product and original receipt. Authorized dealers have access to an expedited warranty evaluation process.
