RCB Track Day: Promote a Safer, More Professional Riding Culture

RCB Track Day: First Safe Circuit Riding Programme

RCB, a motorcycle performance parts brand, has launched its first-ever RCB Track Day, a motorcycle track day designed to help riders learn track riding safely and professionally. Open to riders aged 9 to 40 and to all levels of experience, the programe included a basic circuit riding workshop led by former national racer Ibrahim Norrodin, with 80 participants joining the day. It forms part of RCB's ongoing commitment to developing the local motorsports community and nurturing riding talent.

Learn Track Riding Safely, Whatever Your Skill Level

The programe provided participants with the opportunity to experience riding on a racetrack in a safe and controlled environment, while enhancing their skills through a range of activities organized throughout the event.

In addition to the track day sessions, participants attended a basic circuit riding workshop conducted by former national racer Ibrahim Norrodin. The session introduced first-time track riders to fundamental riding techniques, motorcycle control, and essential safety practices on the circuit.

The event was further enlivened by the presence of Malaysia’s professional riders Kasma Daniel and Nazirul Izzat, who shared their experiences and career journeys in motorcycle racing ahead of their participation in the upcoming Asia Road Racing Championship (ARRC) round in Japan this weekend.

RCB Promotes a Safer, More Professional Riding Culture

According to Marcus Leong, General Manager of Brand at RCB Motorcycle Performance Parts, the organization of RCB Track Day forms part of the company’s ongoing efforts to support the motorcycle community while promoting a safer and more professional riding culture.

"RCB Track Day was organized as a platform for motorcycle enthusiasts to improve their riding skills on the track in a safe and professional environment. The response has been overwhelmingly encouraging and demonstrates that the riding community is eager for programme that provide meaningful value and opportunities for development,” he said.

Participant feedback was also highly positive, with many expressing their hope that the programe would continue through the organization of three to four series annually. RCB will explore the possibility of establishing Track Day as a regular programe to further support the development of the local motorsports community and help cultivate more skilled and disciplined riders.
