RCB RECEIVES RACE-USED ASPAR MOTO2 BIKE TO STRENGTHEN TECHNICAL R&D

Wednesday, 19th August 2026 - RCB has received the actual Moto2 racing machine
from the Aspar Team, raced by RCB athlete David Alonso, marking another important
step in the brand’s continuous development of racing technology and technical
capabilities.

The acquisition of the Moto2 machines is primarily driven by research and development
(R&D) purposes, allowing RCB’s technical team to study, analyse and further develop
technologies derived from the highly competitive Moto2 racing environment.
For RCB, racing is not simply about brand visibility or sponsorship. More importantly, it
provides a real-world platform for engineers and technical teams to gain valuable
knowledge and experience under extreme racing conditions.

“For us, this is not just about branding. The real purpose is to strengthen our technical
capabilities and, most importantly, to put our technical knowledge into implementation,”
said Doc Dol, Business and Motorsports Director of MKA Group.

“What we learn from racing can be translated into our commercial products. The
experience, data and technical knowledge gained from a Moto2 machine allow our
engineers to better understand performance requirements and continuously improve
the products that eventually reach riders at the track and on the road.”

The Moto2 machine, which was raced by David Alonso, will serve as an important
reference for RCB’s technical team in studying racing specifications, performance
requirements and component development.

Through this approach, RCB continues to strengthen the connection between racing,
research and commercial product development, ensuring that lessons learned at the
highest level of motorcycle racing can contribute directly to the next generation of RCB
products.

The bike will be displayed during the inaugural RCB Day on 23 August 2026 at Heritage
Valley Kuala Lumpur.
